After completeing 1 year of a fine arts degree at Queensland College of Arts majoring in painting and photography, I took to the work force and have been employed in the production/marketing/advertising industry. During this time I have always maintained an active studio space in each of the houses I have lived in, enabling me to continue my journey of art practice and creative exploration. I am passionate about people and the community and enjoy making artworks which creatively explore many of my observations and ideas about this. Art is an intrinsic part of me which I aim to give expression to my entire life.

My artworks poke fun at the slow disintegration of tradition and cultural ritual. I look at the effects of popular culture on conventional wisdom, embellishing the degradation of the sacred as a means for relevant social transformation. Thus pointing out that instead of holding onto hallowed customs, popular culture is transforming the sacred into the topical, turning sacrilege into food for thought.
